Utilization of open-cell metal foams in functional applications such as energy absorption, noise absorber, heat insulator, and lightweight panels is trending many industrial applications. The development reliable joining technologies for sandwiched crucial thermal application one the techniques used brazing process. In current work, copper foam was between a plate using amorphous filler Cu-9.7Sn-5.7Ni-7.0P (Cu: copper, Sn: tin, Ni: nickel, P: phosphorus) via technique. shear test conducted on brazed joint interface copper/copper foam, while compressive carried out sample. Microstructures substrate surface obtained from fracture show tear region cleavage fractures. stress–strain curve strength explains deformation behavior
